The Importance of Cyber Security

when we look at the annual budget of each and every country we can see all the countries give their first priority for the security of their country. Likewise, all of us give first priority to the security of our lives. But always these kinds of non-functional features are value-added things. Because of that, we had to invent more money for security features. so, this is a brief explanation about the security.

After the beginning of the 21st century, we can see there was a massive growth of the internet and information communication. And lots of people try to share their valuable and secret information through the internet. because of that the crimes related to this information communication increased day by day. At the initial point of these activities, the related authorities could not be able to do any kind of an action because it was new to them. But after a few years, the developed countries give their concern about this problem. Because it was very important for them to communicate with others and they have much more things to secure. 

Then people try to find new ways to secure their data, by inventing new algorithms to encrypt data and new mechanisms to send data securely. But this is a war between the hackers and the cybersecurity people, because of that the latest mechanisms should be followed to have better security for our data, otherwise, hackers can compromise our systems and grab our data. 

But most people do not know anything about the importance of their secret private data, and they do not know what are the measurements they should take to secure their data from the unethical activities of hackers. But we should secure our data, otherwise, we have to face very difficult conveniences which we did not do and we can not prove that we did not do them. And we might be able to face very embarrassing situations because of the leakage of our private data to the internet.

To avoid those problems we have to,

• Implement strong passwords with different types of characters.
• Do not reveal our password or any kind of user-credentials or private information to anyone.
• Use the latest security implementations.
• Use secure channels to do the communication.
• Communicate only with trustworthy people.
• Use a strong and active anti-virus guard.
• Do not open e-mails or links sent by unknown persons
• Encrypt your data when transferring them.
• Always use websites with HTTPS.
